When news came out that Jonathan Alter was leaving Newsweek after nearly three decades, the early speculation was that he would sign on with Bloomberg, since he’d already been contributing columns there several times a month.
Mike Allen gets the scoop this morning that that buzz was right: Alter will be joining Bloomberg View, the company’s new foray into opinion journalism.
