Page Six reports that Dr. Sanjay Gupta was spotted lunching with Katie Couric at Nello on Madison Avenue yesterday, prompting them to ask, “Is Dr. Sanjay Gupta tiring of being Anderson Cooper's tight-tee-wearing sidekick?”
Since Couric announced that she’ll be launching a new syndicated daytime show on ABC next year, there's speculation that she’s on the hunt for talent to bring with her.
Couric’s spokesman said: “It’s just two good friends enjoying lunch.” CNN declined to comment.
